Today, the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are a powerful structure that includes military hospitals and sanatoriums. The obverse of the coin depicts the small State Emblem of Ukraine (above); framed by an ancient Russian ornament in the center are the inscriptions: UKRAINE / 10 / HRYVENE (in a semicircle); against the background of the ornament is the year of minting of the coin - 2024 (below) and the logo of the Banknote and Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (on the right).
On the reverse of the coin, the inscriptions are placed in a circle: PROFESSIONALISM AND MERCY and MEDICAL FORCES OF THE ARMED FORCES OF UKRAINE. In the center of the composition, the emblem of the Medical Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is depicted in relief, based on the βBritishβ heraldic shield. The central element of the shield is a cross, on which a stylized snake is placed, wrapping around a diver. The cross symbolizes a sign of comprehensive assistance and protection recognized in Europe and the world, and the snake wrapping around a diver is a symbol of the medical forces. In the background, camouflage pixels are schematically depicted.
