Trends come and go, but classic science fiction in comics has always stood the test of time. This is a CGC 5.5 copy of Mystery in Space number 53 and there are a couple of reasons why this book is special. First, this is when the Adam Strange stories and covers begin. Next, the legendary Gil Kane drew this cover and dropped the old helmet Adam Strange wore for this sleek, new design that would be the standard for another five decades for Adam Strange. The cover itself is great and I think captures the spirit of comic book sci-fi of the day perfectly. And I mean, rogue robots and jetpacks??? What more could you want in a comic from the 1950's!!! This is honesly one I have a hard time putting on , it is such a great book. Thanks for looking!
