Beautiful 2-piece Meissen porcelain collection, comprising a lidded trinket/jewellery box and small dish.
Both pieces feature the distinctive underglaze blue Meissen crossed-swords mark to the underside and are decorated in the traditional Indisch Purpur (Indian Purple) style, with finely painted magenta/purple floral decoration, delicate gilt highlights and gold edging.
The rectangular lidded box has a shaped form with matching decorated lid, while the small dish features the coordinating floral pattern and gilt rim.
Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition with some age-related wear, particularly to the gilt decoration. Please inspect all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description and show the markings and overall condition.
