M937 Portuguese export 1st contract S84/98 bayonet. These bayonets were German produced in Solingen, and were exported to Portugal in 1937. This example has the WaA (waffenamt) style eagles WaA253, and has the Portuguese serial number on the pommel 5972 C block. The pommel was possibly reblued, the scabbard is likely from a Chilean bayonet.
