New reproduction of the modified McKeever pouch issued from 1904 after adoption of the new Springfield rifle. This pouch was commonly worn on the leather garrison belt.
The loops are made for either .30-06 or .30-40 Krag ammunition. Please note the loops have been stiffened with a coating of shellack, as prescribed by US Army Quartermaster specifications for this item. The loops may take some time and effort to insert rounds, but will conform to the shape of the cartridges over time.
