This is a genuine factory NOS part. NOS means new old stock, which basically means the part is new but is old stock. Old stock parts generally have some shelf life and a lot of times have been passed along from dealer to dealer. Some times they have been removed from original packaging and put back and some times they have been put back in non original packaging. Some times the original packaging will show some wear. A lot of our NOS parts are in original packaging but not all. Sometimes there are multiples in the same OEM packaging and we will pull from those and ship in a zip lock bag and ship the OEM bag last.
