Outstanding John Primble 4 1/8” full-size trapper, an American-made Authorized Reproduction from the Blue Grass Cutlery era and attributed to Queen Cutlery production.
This is an exceptionally attractive example of the quality USA-made Primble revival knives, combining traditional American construction with gorgeous honey-amber peach-seed jigged bone, nickel-silver hardware and classic full-size trapper proportions.

This marking identifies the knife as part of the authorized later-production John Primble line rather than an original antique Belknap-era Primble.
◆ BLADES: Classic two-blade trapper configuration featuring a clip-point master and spey blade. Both stainless-steel blades remain very full and unsharpened, retaining their original factory edges.

factory blade etch. The strong surviving etch, bright blade finish and untouched edges give this knife excellent collector presentation.
◆ HANDLES: Beautiful honey-amber peach-seed jigged bone with warm golden coloration and attractive natural variation. The traditional jigging has excellent depth and character and is complemented by the distinctive Primble shield.
◆ CONSTRUCTION: Substantial 4 1/8” closed full-size trapper frame featuring polished nickel-silver bolsters and hardware, brass liners and quality traditional slipjoint construction. Fit and finish are excellent throughout.
◆ MECHANICS: Both blades have strong snap opening and closing. This trapper does not have half-stops. There is very slight blade play when fully open, very minor, disclosed for complete accuracy.
◆ CONDITION: Excellent collector condition. Both blades are unsharpened with factory edges intact. The master retains its strong original factory etch. Handles and hardware present beautifully, with only minor handling/storage evidence visible upon close inspection.
⭐ COLLECTOR APPEAL: The USA-made Authorized Reproduction John Primble knives represent an interesting continuation of the historic John Primble / Louisville, Kentucky cutlery name. This example combines desirable American manufacture, classic full-size trapper construction, outstanding honey peach-seed bone and unusually strong blade presentation.
The combination of factory edges and surviving Primble blade etch makes this a particularly handsome example for the Primble, Queen or traditional American pocketknife collector.
