Here we have an amazing Hopi Early Morning Kachina Signed Kenny Lucas circa 1970\'s. It is in very good condition. It measures approximately 14 1/2 inches tall. It is a beautiful carving. It is signed on the stand Kenny. Please look at all the pictures they are a very important part of the description.
Like Michelangelo and his famous statue of David, Kenny could see the kachina dolls in a block of cottonwood-tree root before he began carving it. Kenny was from the Hopi village Old Oraibi, but when I knew him he lived in Kykotsmovi / New Oraibi in the early 1970\'s. Kenny passed away in the mid 1970\'s in his \'50s way too young.
