Antique Hopi Pottery Bowl Fred Harvey From Hopi Villages Label Early 1900s
Wonderful antique Hopi pottery bowl dating to the early 20th century and retaining its original “From the Hopi Villages” paper label on the underside.
This small hand-formed bowl features a warm buff/tan ground with dark brown geometric decoration around the exterior. The handmade form, aged surface, traditional decoration, and surviving original label make this a wonderful piece of early Hopi pottery.
Features:
• Antique Hopi pottery bowl
• Early 20th century
• Original “From the Hopi Villages” paper label
• Hand-formed pottery construction
• Dark brown geometric decoration
• Approximately 3 1/2” in diameter

CONDITION:
Antique condition with expected age-related wear throughout. The painted decoration shows considerable rubbing and surface wear, along with scratches and abrasions. There are firing/kiln imperfections, small pits, and other surface irregularities consistent with handmade pottery of this age. Minor wear and irregularities are also present around the interior and rim. I do not see any obvious cracks. The original paper label remains attached to the underside and shows expected age and wear.
Please review all photos carefully, including the close-up images, as they are an important part of the condition description.
