During the 1970s and 80s, Jack and Janet Smurl lived in a half-double house on Chase Street in West Pittston, Pennsylvania. What began as a quiet family life devolved into what they described as a relentless, multi-year demonic haunting.
The Smurls reported aggressive paranormal activity: phantom noises, foul odors, freezing cold spots, and dark apparitions. Things escalated drastically when they claimed the entities began physically and sexually assaulting family members, including Jack and Janet.
Desperate for help, they turned to the Catholic Church and eventually brought in Ed and Lorraine Warren. The Warrens investigated the home and declared that the property was infested by multiple spirits, anchored by a powerful, malevolent demon.
The doll was acquired via private sale in 2020, just before the pandemic hit, and was sent to the Coastal Institute for the Study of the Paranormal in late 2021, it would remain there under the care of Dr. Marin and her beautiful team for nearly 6 months.
Observed Activities include: Moving of body/self independent of any outside or natural factors, re-positioning of body outside of any external factors, self levitation, independent manipulation of nearby objects, electrical disturbances, high level EMF readings, vocalization with and without use of EVP, and various violent outbursts.
The doll comes with a copy of the COA (certificate of authenticity) from the Institute.

My name is Nathalie Von Reiss. I'm an accredited and licensed Master spiritualist with the Eastern European Mysticism Council. I have 16 years of hands-on experience working within the dark arts in all forms - Spell casting, spirit links and conjuring, afterlife communication, and advanced energy manipulation.
I spent the majority of my adult life studying in both Prague and Budapest, having moved to the USA in 2022. Here I have developed a bond with Tess Joy and was honored to be given membership in The Mystic Lunar Coven in late 2025. My Sisterhood with these amazing, hardworking, and loving women is a culmination of my life's greatest desires. I am very honored.
