Gerber Harley Davidson 90th Anniversary Knife #203 of Only 500 Made1992 Gerber Harley Davidson 90th Anniversary Knife.There were only 500 made with the special Pink Wood handles, partly because this Pink wood is ultra scarce as its reserved only for the Chief. Just owning it was punishable by death! (read info shown in the last three photos - I can\'t mention the actual name because the stupid AI flags it due to a certain word in the name. Photos are large enough to zoom in on to read them better).
This knife is in very nice shape, with some ultra fine scratches and light tarnish to the brass. I have not cleaned it and left it in its original state. I feel an extremely light burr on the underside of the tip; the etched design side is fine. The chest is in very good condition, with two small marks on the inside. The Certificate of Authenticity card shows some scratches on the backside. Yes, minor points, but I am detailing everything I see as these are super scarce and dont come along that often, so I want everything listed so there are no surprises with any item I sell. Compare to the so called descriptions other sellers have and realize there will be no surprises here. See my response!
There was another commemorative Harley/Gerber knife with a higher run of 3000 knives. This one is a little more exclusive, with only 500 made, and for good reason. Using ultra rare materials like the Pink wood for the handle and 2000 year old (again blanked due to AI stupidity), there\'s only so much of those materials available! This is number #203 out of 500, engraved on the handle (see pic of handle toward the end). Includes the knife; chest with magnetic clasp; Certificate of Authenticity; brass mounting bar/bracket for wall hanging and felt covered foam pad for wall mounting if so desired. The last three photos show a dealer promotional Gerber brochure with details on this Limited Edition knife. (brochure NOT included). Original selling price was $1095 and dealer cost was $750! And that was 30 years ago!Please review all of the photos as they are part of the description and are of the actual item shown.
