This piece is a vintage Capodimonte porcelain sculpture titled "Winter Fun" (or "Sledding"), created by the famous Italian artist Giuseppe Armani. #(0111-E)
CONDITION: PRISTINE CONDITION. No chips, flea bites, no loss of paint, no damage to wooden plinth, absolutely pristine condition.
SIZE: Approximately 9” Height, 8” Length, 5” Width. Weight 5 lbs.
PRODUCTION: 1980’s. This particular piece was purchased at Disney World September 1986 ( see information which original owner notated on bottom of wooden base (plinth). This item was purchased from the original owner.

Originally introduced in 1982 as part of his popular "Gulliver's World" collection, the figurine beautifully depicts a boy and a girl dressed in heavy cold-weather gear gliding down a snowy slope on a wooden sled.
Signatures & Capodimonte Blue marker
The Signatures: The base features Armani's classic cursive, incised signature ("G. Armani") directly into the porcelain mold near the edge of the snow crust. The original brass nameplate identifying the artist is also attached to the front of the finished wood base.
The Blue Crowned "N" Mark: This is the legendary Capodimonte hallmark. Next to it, you can clearly see the incised "® 1982
FLORENCE" mark. This indicates the exact year the sculpture's original master mold was copyrighted and registered by the studio in Italy.
