Gerber Hinderer Rescue Knife w/ the Complete Rare Tool Set Firefighter ParamedicThis is a rare, EARLY version of the Hinderer Rescue knife. What makes it rare? Note the back of the blade says Patent Pending - it doesn\'t even have the patent yet! Note the oversize font that comes down onto the ridgeline of the blade, and finally, the sheath is labeled made in China (later ones were made in Taiwan). And it has the rare tool kit to boot!
Knife is in excellent condition with very minimal signs of use, mainly a few marks on the blade as seen in the pics.

Hinderer Rescue - Serrated, Sheath. Built with firefighters in mind, the Gerber Hinderer model 22-01534 is a knife loaded with features. The blade on this Gerber knife is made of thick, fully serrated stainless steel and is operated by a liner lock release. On the other end is a window punch and a lanyard ring. On the back of the knife is an integrated seat belt / clothing cutter that folds out of the way when not in use. In the middle of the knife there is a built in slot that allows the knife to operate as an oxygen tank wrench. A ballistic nylon sheath sheath is included that holds the knife and the 9 piece tool kit. This is a must have for your toolbox. UPC Code: 013658415348
