The original theatrical lobby cards never fully captured the movie’s wonderfully odd combination of giant-woman science fiction, small-town comedy and colorful 1950s spectacle. This newly designed ClassicSciFi lobby card combines a memorable scene of Dorothy Provine towering over Lou Costello and the townspeople with illustrated artwork, lettering and credits inspired by the original theatrical poster.
Released in 1959, The 30 Foot Bride of Candy Rock was Lou Costello’s final motion picture and his only starring film without longtime comedy partner Bud Abbott. Costello plays would-be inventor Artie Pinsetter, whose girlfriend Emmy Lou is accidentally transformed into a 30-foot giantess. Dorothy Provine and Gale Gordon co-star.
