This image was created by H. E. Frecker, R.N. from details supplied by eye witnesses to the action that day. The Fifth battle squadron, attached to Admiral Beatty's 1st Battlcruiser Squadron was turning to follow and to catch up with the battlecruisers. A very rough day of fighting a major opponent, the German High Sea's Fleet, in the cold, choppy, North Sea.
Original 105+ year old artwork, frame, and glass. Except upper right corner, the frame is in excellent condition with nice, tight, corners. All details of this piece are sharp. Dimensions: 22" x 12"
Listing photos taken taken outside have "washed out" the contrast between light & dark areas of the listing pics plus there is a bit of glinting from the sun.
