Autograph & inscription, in ink, dated 1968. Comes with COA from Ira Sabin Autographs. I have collected autographs since the 1960s. I personally recognize Rickenbacker\'s handwriting and I also know that he was a gracious signer to all. He especially liked to respond to young people who wrote him (of whom I was one). I concur with Sabin, this is unquestionably authentic. As you see, the entire autograph has been carefully cut and mounted onto a slightly larger white card (about the size of an index card). Condition: Excellent

Roosevelt. The plane carrying him ran out of fuel and had to ditch. Twenty-four days in a life raft with several other men, drifting thousands of miles in a remote part of the Pacific, and with little to no food or water) An autograph worth having and displaying.. I am selling this one because, as I mentioned, I already own several he inscribed personally to me when I was a child. We had an ongoing correspondence. I obtained this autograph with thoughts of using it as a prize in a series of WW1 presentations I gave several years ago. I eventually decided not to do that. I\'m not a dealer, just a hobbyist who as a child considered Cpt Rickenbacker a friend. So now it\'s a spare that I am selling at a \"garage sale\" price, in hopes Mr. Rickenbacker would like that I\'m passing along the kindness.
