This substantial stoneware mug features a rich navy/cobalt blue glaze with a lighter blue flowing drip glaze around the upper portion. The front features an applied medallion displaying the historic U.S. Naval Academy crest and “Ex Scientia Tridens” motto.

This example is particularly attractive because of its United States Naval Academy design, Navy-blue coloration and clearly dated 2012 production mark.
An excellent collectible for a USNA graduate, Midshipman, Navy veteran, military memorabilia collector or Deneen Pottery collector.
Condition: Pre-owned condition with light signs of previous use. The glaze remains glossy and attractive and the USNA medallion displays beautifully. No obvious chips or cracks are visible in the photographs. Some minor marks/residue are visible on the unglazed underside, including remnants of an old label.
