Very good condition overall. All four volumes remain firm, square and tightly bound. The matching red textured bindings show moderate exterior wear, primarily rubbing, bumping and some fraying or small losses at the spine ends and corners, most noticeable along the heads of several volumes. Gilt lettering and decorative stamping remain attractive and clearly legible. The text blocks are clean and sound with even age toning. Internally unmarked aside from a single very small prior ownership notation in red ink to the upper margin of the front endpaper of one volume. No other ownership markings or annotations observed.

Complete four-volume edition containing all Five Books of Moses: בראשית / Bereshit (Genesis), שמות / Shemot (Exodus), ויקרא–במדבר / Vayikra–Bamidbar (Leviticus and Numbers bound together), and דברים / Devarim (Deuteronomy). The volumes present the Hebrew Biblical text in traditional study format with Targum Onkelos, Rashi and accompanying commentary, with Yiddish material printed in Hebrew characters. Matching red textured hardcover bindings are decorated in gilt on both the front boards and spines. The imprint identifies Sinai Offset Co., 34 Hubert Street, New York.
