The pictures are on loan and notfor sale. We have received a consignment for sale from the family of aMilitary Chaplain. A collection of WWII Catholic devotional items, to benefitthe Carmelite Convents we work with. With each medal we will also be sending acopy of the chaplain's information and a picture. These pieces were cast frombrass shell casings and worn along with a Catholic GI's dog tags identifyingthem as Catholic and to call a priest in case of eminent death. On the back youcan see space for the soldier’s name, date of birth and blood type. The medalis 1.75 inches hanging length and weighs 8 grams of brass.
