Circa 1913, Rare Patriotic Postcard set of 6 that includes wing spread eagle, the American flag and a black photo of naval activity. This postcard features group of young sailors from the U.S. Navy manning a six-inch gun crew, a twelve inch fun, firing a torpedo, on the U.S.S. Submarine F.2 in San Diego. Plus there is a Stand by the President Woodrow Wilson card and a card with Our Country's Call both of these cards have messaging by Frank C. Nelson. All divided backs, unposted, in excellent condition, very minor age wear. These postcards captures a moment of patriotism and military pride. It is a great addition to any collection of militaria, nautical or patriotic-themed items. The postcard measures 5.5 x 3.5 inches and has a divided back.
