This poor bastard apparently sat down, took his boots off the clock, and never got back up.
Offered here is “Siesta ’Til Eternity,” a one-of-one finished resin art statue by Blizzard featuring a seated skeletal vaquero / cowboy wearing an oversized sombrero, poncho, faded trousers and heavily worn western boots.
The approximately 4-inch sculpture began as a 3D resin print and was individually finished by hand using a combination of airbrushing and hand-painted detail work before being sealed beneath protective varnish.
This is the ONLY example finished in this exact color scheme.

SIESTA ’TIL ETERNITY
The name pretty much wrote itself.
Our skeletal wanderer appears to have found himself a comfortable spot, dropped into a permanent slouch and decided that whatever comes next can damn well wait until tomorrow.
The oversized sombrero shadows a fully sculpted skull while the body sits casually with:
• Hands resting over the knees
• Loose western trousers
• Heavy boots
• Draped poncho
• Relaxed seated posture
• Full skeletal hands and facial structure
It manages to look creepy, funny and strangely peaceful at the same time.
That combination is exactly what makes the piece work.
AIRBRUSHED + HAND PAINTED
This is not simply a raw resin print.
The sculpture was individually finished by Blizzard using multiple techniques.
The color treatment includes:
• Warm burnt-orange sombrero
• Rust / brown poncho
• Weathered bone-toned skull and hands
• Faded turquoise / dusty blue trousers
• Brown leather-style boots
• Dark recessed shading
• Subtle distressed coloration
Airbrushing was used to establish gradients, shadows and larger areas of color.
Smaller details and accents were then painted by hand to emphasize the sculpted features.
The finished piece was sealed with varnish to protect the artwork and give the colors additional depth.
WEATHERED WESTERN LOOK
The goal was not a perfectly clean cartoon cowboy.
This guy has supposedly been sitting there for a while.
The finish uses intentionally weathered and uneven tones to give the statue an aged desert-western appearance.
The skull has darker recessed areas around the:
• Eye sockets
• Nasal cavity
• Jaw
• Teeth
• Cheek structure
Those darker areas make the skeletal anatomy stand out without turning the entire head into a flat gray shape.
The poncho is similarly shaded so the deep folds remain visible.
THE SOMBRERO
The oversized sombrero is probably the defining visual element of the piece.
It dramatically extends beyond the skull and creates a strong shadow line over the face.
The warm orange / terracotta finish gives it an almost sun-baked clay appearance and provides a strong contrast against the colder colors used on the skeleton and trousers.
From different viewing angles, the hat completely changes the personality of the figure.
