Very old! Very rare! Lovingly kept and saved comes this very early VICTORY CHLORODYNE Throat cough lozenges Advertising tin (empty).
Victory cough lozenges were developed in the 1860’s, a hard pressed tablet designed to be slowly sucked and to let the ingredients relieve sore throats.mThey were first named The Victory Chlorodyne Lozenge and changed to Linseed Liquorice V Lozenge then shortened again to Victory V in 1910.
This grocery shop counter tin dates from the late 1800’s. The tin measures 22 x 14 x 6 cm. Please consult photos for condition.
