Beautiful antique Raphael Tuck & Sons die-cut greeting card featuring an oversized pale blue teacup and saucer decorated with pansies, gilt accents and tiny birds, captioned “Brimful of good wishes.” Marked on reverse Raphael Tuck & Sons Ltd., London, Paris, New York, “Publishers to Her Majesty the Queen,” and “Designed at the Studios in England and printed at the Fine Art Works in Saxony.” Estimated c.1895–1901. Lovely surviving color and gold detailing. Age toning, edge wear and losses/damage to the delicate upper die-cut elements as shown. Tape used to hold closed still on opening edge.
