Antique Hall China Co. covered chamber combinet/slop jar, dating to approximately the early 1900s. This substantial piece is finished in a creamy white glaze with raised decorative detailing, a fitted domed lid, and a metal bail handle with turned wooden grip. The underside retains the faint green Hall China Co. maker’s mark.
Measures approximately 12” high to the top of the lid and 10” across at the widest point. Weighs approximately 8 lb 7 oz.
Displays beautifully with wonderful early American pottery character. Age-related crazing, hairlines, rim wear, and oxidation to the bail hardware are present as shown.
