Very unique & antique 1917 MIZPAH Chicago Uniform Jacket - Named. Color is a black (poor camera lighting), with some fading. Very good condition with very little moth nips and about 1 1/2 inch hole on inside liner. All original buttons are in place. Made by The Marshall Field's Company, Chicago. The owner listed himself as a Knight's Templar (See name tag picture), but on the collar is MIZPAH (Temple) "Watchtower" in Hebrew & on the other side of collar is Chicago. On the inside pocket has tailor tag with the name B.L. Kozlowski, Knights Templar, 8/31/17. A great piece of history over one hundred years old.
If anybody is familiar with the Early Marshall Fields & Co. there are early postcards out there with a picture of the Chicago store displaying the Knights Templar Crosses in the windows. Very interesting early history.
