This heavy cast builder\'s plaque was salvaged directly from a vintage Amesteam Generator boiler system built by the renowned Ames Iron Works of Oswego, New York. Active for over a century before closing in 1963, Ames Iron Works was one of the premier steam engine and boiler manufacturers in the United States. This genuine post-1949 vintage plate features bold raised lettering against a dark-painted recessed background, offering an excellent visual statement for collectors.Constructed from heavy cast brass or bronze, the tag measures approximately 10 inches wide by 4.5 inches tall. It retains its four original corner mounting holes, making it easy to hang and display immediately.
