This antique hand-painted E. W. Donath tea set is a stunning Art Nouveau style tea set, featuring intricate geometric designs and Art Nouveau elements. Made in the United States, this set is signed "Roy" and is sure to be a standout collectible in any kitchen or home decor.
E. W. Donath operated out of Chicago from 1897, when he started his own studio.It operated until 1903. Donath then worked for Pickard Studio from 1903 until 1905 when he again launched out on his own until 1928. So this this piece could be 123 years old. This design with geometric patterns and Art Nouveau elements is quite different from most Donaths. Every piece except one of the saucers has a tiny signature "Roy" (or possibly "Ray").
You may never see a Donath set with this styling and condition again.
