VERY RARE, SELDOMSEENFORSALEAugust 10,1945 Army Air Force issued Pilot\'s Flight Operating Instructions for the Stinson L-5, L-5B, L-5C, L-5E and L-5G AND Navy model OY-1Sentinel Liaison airplanes, T.O. # 01-50DB-1, 48 pages SCANNED ON CD FROM MY ORIGINAL MANUAL, NOT FROM A REPRINTOR BOOTLEGGED FROM SOMEONE ELSE!Please view the pictures for a sample of the content of the manual! This manual is the longest pilots manual I have for the L-5 and is the last war time issue, so it has the last updates and the latest information.The L-5 was used in most theaters of WWII as a liaison aircraft, artillery spotter, observation, and a ambulance. Able to get out of short and remote airfields was a huge advantage with this aircraft! The L-5 was the militarized version of the popular Stinson Voyager, which was a easy aircraft to fly and difficult to stall or spin. This manual covers ALL versions adopted by the military which had 12 volt systems and the \"G\" models which had 24 volt systems. There were 1,538 built of the L-5 and 79 were transferred to the USN/Marines as OY-1\'s. There were 729 L-5B\'s built and 40 were transferred as OY-1\'s. A L-5C was 200 converted L-5B\'s with a K-20 reconnaissance camera. There were 750 L-5E\'s built which were a STOL aircraft with larger tires and brakes; 152 of these went to the Navy and Marines as OY-1\'s. Finally, there were 115 \"G\" models built which had a improved O-435-11 engine, controllable pitch propeller and a 24 volt system built on a \"E\" model air frame.
