It features a stylized, mid-century wooden frame painted in pastel pink and light grey blocks, complete with decorative gilded (gold-leafed) ornate edges.Era and Origin: Measuring roughly 3" x 3", these tiny, decorative wooden-block replicas were exceptionally popular as European museum souvenirs from the 1950s through the 1970s. Many were produced by traditional framing workshops in Italy or the UK under official authorization from The National Gallery, London.
