I do not have a microscope so many great details you may see that I can\'t. I do not have a mid wave or short wave flashlight so it is possible in some parts that it may uv light up fluoresce or is fluorescent.
This one comes from a nice collection of an old timer rock collector who rockhounded Michigan to Minnesota years back. This one is more uncommon with the white type of bands throughout. On the bigger end is the purple amethyst that shows up better once wet. There is a smaller spot to the left of that so wonder how far in the purple amethyst goes. When wet it looks like the bottom at one time had several eyes. It weighs in at 7.3oz dry. Pictures were taken dry and wet. It has some microscopic shiny specs in the non-banded areas and is just a really nice agate. When wet its obviously better looking and for people who cab these could end up looking pretty neat . Either way the white bands and amethyst make it a good one to have. The sizes are around 2 7/8\" x 2 1/4\" x 1 1/4\". ?\'s please ask.
