There are well-defined pink and green flashes that resembles a "star" which becomes evident when you rock the star back and forth under the sunlight or spotlight. Both sides of the star have flashes. The front flash resembles a star and the back has strong flashes of pink. Unless you are looking for the flashes under the light, it looks plain black.
