Offered for sale is a beautiful 2007 W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co. Case XX Tiny Muskrat, Item No. 06683, featuring Case\'s highly desirable 6.5 BoneStag genuine bone handles, two stainless steel blades and the original factory Case box.

This compact traditional Case pocketknife measures approximately 2-3/4 inches closed, making it considerably smaller than the standard Case Muskrat. A documented 2007 Tiny Muskrat example from a specialty Case knife marketplace confirms the approximately 2-3/4\" closed size.

CASE 6.5 BONESTAG

One of the highlights of this knife is the beautiful Case 6.5 BoneStag handle.

Case 6.5 BoneStag is genuine bone that is specially jigged and hand-flamed to reproduce the appearance and character of genuine stag antler. The process creates distinctive honey, amber and dark brown coloration, meaning every BoneStag handle has its own unique appearance.

Case specifically describes its 6.5 BoneStag as genuine bone with honey and amber tones, special jigging and hand-flaming. The secondary “6.5” tang marking is also associated with this special handle series.

The knife shown here has especially attractive coloration, ranging from creamy honey/amber at the ends into darker burnt brown areas through the center.

BLADES

The Tiny Muskrat features two slender blades positioned at opposite ends of the knife, giving the pattern its distinctive double-ended appearance.

The blades have a bright mirror-polished finish and are made from Case\'s stainless steel.

Case\'s Tru-Sharp stainless is a high-carbon stainless steel engineered to provide good edge retention, blade strength and corrosion resistance.

  This knife is in excellent unused collector condition.

  Both blades appear exceptionally clean and bright with highly polished surfaces. The 6.5 BoneStag handle scales display excellent coloration and character with no obvious cracks or chips visible in the supplied photographs. The Case XX shield, bolsters and hardware all present very well.

  The original green W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co. factory box is included and retains the important original identification label showing Item No. 06683, Tiny Muskrat, 6.5 BoneStag information, UPC and 10/18/07 date. The box shows some minor shelf/storage wear consistent with age.
