The book covers historical and cultural information on the Papago Indians and includes information on their baskets. The book is loaded with color photographs to aid in identification of baskets and designs. The softcovers show minor wearing, have some edge wearing, some scuffs, but intact with no rips or tears. The inside pages are all intact, clean, no rips or tears and nice shape, approx. 8 1/2\" by 10 7/8\". 2) American Indian basketry and other Native arts, by John Gogol, editor. Softcovers, copyright 1984, 34 pages. The title relates to basketry but that is a small portion of this edition. The book or booklet cover Northwest coast, west, and Alaska Indian history and culture including their arts and crafts. The soft covers do show age related wearing, corner creases, soiling, and scuffs but are intact with no rips or tears.
