The Output: Like many artists in the late '90s insert era, Morrell would have been sent a blank stack of official MCC98 Sketchagraph cards directly from Fleer/SkyBox. He drew characters of his choosing (or from a provided list), signed the backs, and sent them back to the manufacturer to be randomly inserted into hobby foil packs.
Because Deadpool was one of Marvel's hottest rising stars in 1998, a Morrell sketch featuring him is highly desirable compared to the generic background characters or villains often found in the set.
