Was made in 1978 in Palekh village workshop!Signed by the artistMyagkova.The name of the lacquer box is\"The Little Humpbacked Horse \" . Size is 6.5 in x 4 in x 1.5 in. ArtistYulia Alexandrovna Myagkova (born 1927) studied at the Palekh Art School from 1945 to 1950. From 1950, she worked at the Palekh Artists\' Association.She created painted designs for lacquerware (such as small boxes and caskets); for instance, her work \"Village Festivities\" (1956) is well known. The artist\'s works are held in numerous museum and private collections.
