1972 Vintage Wire Press Photo by ASSOCIATED PRESS.The Summit headquarters\' of organized crime, a 40 by 15 foot trailer parked in a junkyard in Brooklyn, is examined by officials here.Brooklyn District Attorney Eugene Gold announced, Oct. 16th, that a year long surveillance of the \'headquarters\' has resulted in subpoenas against 677 persons in a massive probe of mob dealings in narcotics, prostitution and extortion and other crime. Five New York area families are involved.A 40-by-15-foot trailer serving as an office inside Bargain Auto Parts Inc., a junkyard located in the Canarsie neighborhood of Brooklyn.The operation was tied to Paul Vario Sr., a reputed counselor in the Lucchese crime family
