For sale is a beautiful 1958 Smith Corona Silent Super (5T Series) vintage portable typewriter in the highly sought-after Alpine Blue color. This classic manual typewriter from the 5T Series is a favorite among collectors and writers for its smooth, quiet operation and durable build.

Condition:
Very good overall vintage condition for this 1958 (68 Year Old) Smith Corona Silent Super typewriter. The typewriter body shows some cosmetic marks and possible light scratches on the Alpine Blue paint consistent with normal wear and age. The exterior of the carrying case has cosmetic scratches and marks from use and storage. The Typewriter types on fine on paper with the current ribbon (see paper in picture), but a fresh ribbon will give darker, bolder impressions (ribbon not included—inexpensive and easy to replace). All mechanical functions seem to work smoothly with no rust, major damage, or missing parts. The platen (rubber roller) is still firm and usable for its age, with no major cracks or deep grooves.
This 1958 Smith Corona Silent Super 5T Series offers great value as a solid daily writer, collector’s piece, or display item with authentic vintage charm. Once you add a new ribbon, it will perform beautifully!
