up for sale a RARE Vintage 1940's Gamewell Ford Motor Signaling System Fire Alarm Bell Call Box Air Force Plant #31, this box was at the Willow Run Bomber plant in Michigan also known as Air force Plant 31 ,where Ford built the B-24 Liberator airplane in WWII,missing the phone, looks like all the guts are there ,box marked #242 .there are some hairline on the plastic cover inside,see photos,original key,embossed with "Ford Motor Co., Signaling System, The Gamewell Co., Newtown, Mass., Game Well, Reg US Pat Off.This pull station box unit has the spring loaded "Pull Handle, Pull Down" door with the thick round convex clear glass lens still there and the pull down lever inside the door. It has a metal "242" box number tag plate attached to the door below the Gamewell log, , A nice add on to your collection.
