Original vintage press photograph issued by the Bermuda News Bureau, stamped on the verso “Photo by Hall”. This is an authentic colonial era news service photo. The image shows two men displaying a very large wahoo or barracuda caught in Bermuda, likely late 1930s to early 1940s. One man wears a British colonial-style peaked cap and is smoking a pipe. The setting, clothing and newsroom markings are all consistent with pre-WWII press photography. The back of the photograph retains original editorial notations including “2 col. Cut” and “2 BW”, indicating intended newspaper layout and print usage. These marking confirm this was a working newsroom press image. Original gelatin silver press photograph measuring 8 x 10 inches.
Overall very good vintage condition with light edge wear and minor creasing consistent with age. Tape residue/paper loss on back from earlier mounting. Editorial writing and stamp present on verso.
