Incredibly beautiful in person and ethereal out in the sunlight. This set looks like it came from a European chateau or castle, long ago.
It is quite rare to have a match set with any antique Moser. Designed by the famous Moser Glassworks and crafted in the old Czech Republic. These treasures came from my late Grandmother\'s estate in Saddle River, NJ. Each ornate ashtray was displayed on a small, marble table in the parlor (formal living room) in her home.
This beautiful set features heavy, lead free crystal with rich ruby red glass panels and embellished with genuine 24k gold overlay. The gold design or motif is regal and quite elegant. Intricate and ornate from all angles. Both the interior and bottom of the ashtrays reveal a sunburst pattern that allows the light to reflect and dance off the crystal. A magical effect in any lighting.
Each ashtray measures 4.25\" in diameter and 1.25\" in height. Both ashtrays are in very good condition. The crystal and red glass cabochons look pristine and immaculate. The gold trim is in good condition as well with very light wear. There are no chips, cracks, marks or serious flaws. I see maybe 2-3 small scratches on the bottom if you flip them over. Both are in remarkable shape and condition.
