1870s CDV photograph of an English widow in late stage mourning w/ fancy bonnet For Sale

Up for sale is an 1870s CDV photograph of a widow in late stage mourning. She wears a dress of dull material, buttons up center front and on sleeves with flat braid at the cuffs. There are a white lace collar with a black jabot and cuffs. Her bonnet is fancy with a black foundation with white bows, leaves and fruit (?), and a sheer pouf possibly fine crepe.
On the reverse is a large studio stamp/advertisement.E. A. Carnell was a 19th centutry artist and photographeroperating out of 24 George Street, New Radford, near Nottingham, England, during the 1860s and 1870s. E. A. Carnell (likely Edward Abraham Carnell, also referred to as Abraham Carnell) was the younger brother of Samuel Carnell, another notable early photographer who later emigrated and worked in Napier, New Zealand.
