• Dense columns of commercial listings and sale ads (dry goods, textiles, wine, tobacco, sugar, indigo, etc.).
• Prominent INSURANCE notices and company boards.
• Shipping/market intelligence and merchant advertisements.
• Period commodities ads clearly visible such as “Winter and Fall Sperm Oil,” “Indigo,” “Licorice Paste,” “Cider Brandy,” and more.
• One issue shows a real-estate sale ad with Manhattan locations (e.g., 3rd Avenue & 12th St).
• Light contemporary ink names at the top margin on both mastheads.

Original and legible with expected toning, fold lines, and edge wear for 180+ year-old papers; a few small chips/creases. Presents well for research or display.
