1826 WINDHAM, MAINE MILITIA APPOINTMENT CERTIFICATE. Original engraved certificate, completed in manuscript, appointing Joshua L. Brown, Sergeant Commander, in Windham, Maine, of the First Regiment, First Brigade, Fifth Division of the Militia of Maine. He was appointed by Capt. Horatio N.
