Up for sale is an incredible piece of military aviation history. This is an original, unused WWII Type B-5 Dual-Engine Magneto Ignition Switch manufactured by the Square D Company (featuring the crisp iconic block "D" logo). This exact style of switch was used in twin-engine WWII aircraft like the Lockheed P-38 Lightning and select sub-panels on bombers like the B-29 Superfortress. What makes this item incredibly rare is the original post-war military preservation packaging. "Method 2C One Each - RED AND PACKAGED - CHELI DEPOT 15 JULY 1954"The switch itself is in beautiful, pristine cosmetic shape with clean dials and toggles. A perfect addition for serious WWII militaria collectors, aviation enthusiasts, or warbird restoration projects.Shipping: Will be securely packed to prevent any wear to the historic stenciled packaging wrapper.
