Republic P-47 Thunderbolt
This is a nice reproduction of an original World War Two photo showing a P-47 Thunderbolt named \"Chunky\" being prepared for an engine start. On radial engines oil will drain into the lower cylinders and the crew had to had rotate the prop to clear the cylinders, otherwise the oil could bend the crank or rods when the engine was cranked. Note also the heavy bomb and fuel load and the invasion stripes on the wings. Great photo!
Size of photo is about 4\" x 6\".
