Vintage Texas Instruments U.S. Air Force GBU-10C/B Laser Guided Bomb contractor presentation/display model.
This piece came directly from the personal collection of a contractor who worked on the project. It was acquired along with another Texas Instruments contractor model representing the U.S. Navy AGM-88A HARM missile.
The model is approximately 12 inches long and is mounted on a finished wooden presentation base. The approximately 8-inch identification plaque reads:

Texas Instruments played a central role in the development of the Paveway laser-guided bomb program. The GBU-10 configuration uses laser guidance with a 2,000-pound-class Mk 84 bomb.
Provenance: From the personal collection of a contractor who worked on the project. The exact circumstances under which the model was originally presented or distributed are unknown, so it is being described as a contractor presentation/display model rather than as a specific award.
Condition: Original vintage condition showing age-related surface wear, marks, discoloration and finish wear to the model, plaque and wooden base. It has not been restored or repainted. Please review all photographs closely for exact condition.
