Here is a lovely vintage mixed-media artwork piece depicting two kimono-clad women viewed from beneath flowering branches.
The composition is built up from a variety of materials and techniques, including woven textiles, printed paper, dimensional fabric blossoms, applied branches and hand-painted details. I believe the background is also a textile, but not 100% sure. It seems to have texture.
The wood framing is distressed and hand painted to complement the piece.
Appears to be mid 20th century based on the framing. Country of origin unknown.

Its a wonderful unusual piece for a collector of vintage textile art, mixed media collage, Japanese inspired art or one of a kind wall decor.
