Fantastic vintage Zenith tabletop radio with loads of mid-century character. This piece features a teal/green cabinet, large circular AM/FM tuning dial, three coordinating front knobs, woven gold/tan speaker cloth, Zenith crest emblem, and built-in carrying handle.
PLEASE NOTE: This radio is currently NON-WORKING.
I plugged the radio in briefly for testing but was unable to get it working. I am not knowledgeable in vintage radio repair and have made no attempt to diagnose, service, or repair it. It is being sold AS-IS for restoration, repair, parts, prop use, or decorative display.
The original Zenith paper label remains on the back but is heavily deteriorated and partially missing, so I have not been able to confidently identify the exact model number. Based on its design, this appears to date to approximately the 1950s, but the exact year has not been confirmed.
The radio shows considerable cosmetic wear consistent with its age, including scratches, scuffs, discoloration, spotting, finish wear, and wear around the dial and cabinet. The rear fiberboard backing also has cracking/damage. The power cord and plug are present.
Despite its unrestored condition, this is a very cool display piece with a fantastic vintage look—perfect for a mid-century collection, retro décor, vintage electronics display, shop décor, photography/theater prop, or restoration project.
Important: This is an unrestored vintage electrical item. It should be properly inspected/serviced by someone experienced with vintage electronics before attempting further use.
Sold exactly as pictured. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the condition description.
