Made by the creators of Congress Playing Cards, this set dates precisely to the World War II era (circa 1942–1945), verified by the included wartime propaganda inserts.
Design & Contents:Card Backs: Gorgeous Art Deco design featuring an elegant illustration of women at a vanity mirror. One deck features a rich blue border motif, and the matching deck features a striking red border motif.
Completeness: Both decks are fully intact and complete.Included Extras: Features the highly collectible "Buy War Savings Bonds and Stamps Now" promotional extra joker card, the standard illustrated Joker cards, and two original vintage "Rules for New York Hearts and Black Jack" pamphlets from The Official Rules of Card Games Hoyle Up-To-Date.
Also included is a pamphlet titled let’s play canasta, which includes instructions and illustrations on how to play the game.
