Crafted in England, this handsome timepiece features a beautifully inlaid walnut burl veneer case accented with geometric marquetry details, Roman numeral dial, and the iconic Venice Simplon-Orient-Express crest. This almost 5.5" by almost 5.5" freestanding clock will display very nicely on a desk, table, mantle or shelf. It is in very good vintage condition with light age-appropriate wear. There is a small area on the top of the front we are not sure what it is but did not try to clean it off as we did not want to risk damaging the finish. Clock face is clean and the wood veneer displays beautiful grain and color. It did keep time for over 2 hours when testing, there was no lag.This does take 1 AA battery, not included.This is not an alarm clock, only keeps time.Thanks for looking!
